Overview
The CLC offers intensive courses in Modern Standard Arabic comprising fifty or sixty contact hours, depending on level, and equivalent to 4 units of university-level Arabic (1). Courses generally take 12 to 15 days to complete, with 4 or 5 hours of study per day, 5 days a week. In addition to classroom work, students should expect daily homework and review. For higher level courses, the CLC also organizes small discussion groups with native speakers.
Courses are taught with maximum emphasis on activating productive and receptive communicative skills, as opposed to simply “mastering grammar.” In addition to the main textbooks, material used in class includes audio recordings, video clips, authentic material from TV, newspapers, and the internet, and short stories.

"American and Moroccan teachers with years of experience and the latest methodologies contribute to making CLC the best place to study English and improve your communication skills!"
" I spent my summer … studying Arabic (at the CLC) and I could not have imagined being anywhere else! .. From the students, the staff, and all others involved, it is such a special place that truly transcends what we think of as a "school." Thanks to all my wonderful instructors and friends who helped make my experience one that I will always remember."
