Students of the Arabic Language Institute, 2011
The CLC is happy to welcome the 21 students and 2 group leaders of the Arabic Language Institute, 2011, sponsored by Legacy International, the Virginia-based NGO devoted to education, peace, and civil society. The students are spending nearly 6 weeks in Morocco studying Arabic and Moroccan culture. While they are in Marrakesh, they stay with Marrakshi families who are generally part of the CLC family. Another group of 12 students are staying with our sister school in Rabat, Bridges. Both groups will complete nearly 110 hours of study of Standard Arabic. They will also visit other cities and participate in social projects while they are here. To all these students we wish them a wonderful and enriching stay fii bilaadihim al-thaanii!
